This
information was updated on Wednesday, March 26th - Please Read it if you
are participating on Saturday - On Saturday, March 29th, our PGSC volunteers will
meet at 9:00 am at the Port Charlotte Beach Park. Please drive into the
park and down to the small Picnic Pavillion near the Boat Launch Ramp
and pick up a free parking pass before parking your car. There is a
$.75/hour parking fee to park in the Port Charlotte Beach Park,
but, Ed Brauer has obtained 30 free parking permits
for our clean-up participants.
(We
originally said we would be doing the clean-up at the new Bayshore County
Park on Bayshore Road in Port Charlotte. We will
not be going to the new Bayshore County Park on Bayshore Road as
other activities will be taking place there on Saturday.)
We will
be working on the area in the Port Charlotte Beach Park. We do have
bags to collect anything we find. We just need your help to fill those
bags to help make Our County's Beach Park look great. Wear sturdy shoes
and gloves are a good idea if you have them. See you there
!

Our Goal is to get as many of our Members out to help
remove trash and litter from a part of the harbor that we spend so much
pleasurable time sailing and boating on.
This clean-up will not
involve the use of boats. We will spend about 2 to 3 hours of the
morning removing trash & litter from a section of the shoreline and
all participants will receive an All American Clean-up T
Shirt.
Our Club Leader
for this event, Ed Brauer, wants to make sure that we have enough T shirts
and in the right sizes, so, Ed needs know who will be helping. If
you didn't register at the February Club meeting, please click the link
below and register via email so we can place our T shirt order and get the
supplies we will need.
