A "wind-less" Start

The 2006 Cabbage Key Race start was abandoned for lack of wind. We tried again at marker 5 and at ICW 76....but the was no wind. More than 17 boats motored to the Useppa anchorage. The early arrival allowed some relaxation time.

Many boats were nicely dressed by 1630 and all joined a dingy raft up for refreshments. Then 38 crew went to dine at Cabbage Key. The door prizes went to Shadow and Cinnaman. 

Donna and Wally Greve of Cinnaman got the "Picture of Beer" trophy based on the tropical theme of their boat and garb.
