Captain - Cruising

Although
August has been a hot and muggy month, we did manage to squeeze in a
land cruise to Bowl Land on the 22nd. Eighteen couples showed up
to roll ‘em for two hours of mayhem. Some of the attendees even
managed to break a hundred.
Our next club event will be Sept 18 -19 at Burnt Store. There is still time to sign up either by email or at the next meeting. Remember, this is also a BBQ/Potluck. We have the pavilion and the grill reserved so bring something to grill and something to share.
In October we will have two cruises heading South. The first cruise will follow the coast south to visit anchorages in the Ft Myers and Naples areas. The departure rendezvous will be Sunday, October 17th at the end of the Summerset Regatta. The cruise will leave from Ft Myers on Monday the 18th. A cruise itinerary is still being worked out.
The second group will sail overnight to Key West arriving NLT October 26th. Obviously, weather will be a factor on both cruises, so cell phone numbers and email will be utilized if last minute changes are necessary.
As always, everyone is free to join when they can and depart as they must.
