Welcome to the PGSC help page. You will find common questions asked and their potential solutions. These issues are not unique to PGSCWeb, but generally an issue with your personal computer, it's setup, configuration or the applications used. Update your browsers, and Adobe acrobat regularly. The biggest reason that you should are the updates that are made to these applications often deal with security of your computer as well as performance. Web pages were designed for Edge, Chrome & Safari. Other browsers may not show all content or features. Javascript must be enabled.


ISSUE: When I click a PDF file in our club or race page folders  I don't know how to download the file and/or print it?

RESOLUTION:Cloud Help Image is missing?


ISSUE: When I click a PDF file in our club or race page folders  I just get a black screen or no response.


Common symptoms when you can't view a PDF on the web are:
  * A blank page in the web browser
  * A red X icon
  * A broken-link indicator, such as a red square, a blue triangle, or a blue circle
  * Error: "The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a web browser. Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9  is required. Please exit and try again."
RESOLUTION:
 1. Install Adobe Acrobat Reader:  https://get.adobe.com/reader/
 2. Go to the the Adobe help page

ISSUE: I have Adobe Acrobat Reader and when I click a PDF file it does not display in my browser.


When you click a PDF link on a web page, it can open either within the web browser or directly in Acrobat or Reader. Each browser type has its own method.
RESOLUTION:
 1. Go to the the Adobe help page

ISSUE: Things are not working right. They use to and now they don't.


RESOLUTION:
 1. If something is not working right, sometimes just rebooting your computer will resolve many issues.
 2. If your computer is acting strange or having popups or ads  appearing, you may have installed Malware or a virus. Running a complete  Virus or malware scan should  be part of your normal regiment. A rrecommended malware scanner is Malwarebytes. A free download can be made at: https://www.malwarebytes.org/downloads/.
 3. Clear your browser cache. {see next question on how)


ISSUE: Website appears to run slower or I am not seeing updates to the page properly.

RESOLUTION:
 1. Refresh your browser. Click the control (Ctrl) and F5 button at the same time (Windows). Or, if you are using a Mac - Apple + R or Cmd + R.
 2. Check what browser you are using: https://whatbrowser.org/
